The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most popular treks in the world. Surround yourself with stunning views every day. Experience the rich culture of the many Nepalese and Tibetan ethnic groups along the way. You will encounter the world’s deepest gorge, Kali Gandaki, and one of the world’s highest mountain passes, Thorang La Pass.
There are four regions that you will pass through on the trek – Lamjung and Manang are predominantly Hindu areas with lush, green subtropical valleys and villages and terraced farming. Manang and Mustang are of higher elevations and are predominantly Tibetan Buddhist.
On the Annapurna Circuit, you will view Mt. Dhaulagiri (the spectacular ice pyramid), Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Annapurna I, II and II, Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), Nilgiri, Lamjung Himal, Tukuche Peak and more. The Annapurna Circuit allows travelers to enjoy views of these mountains from a variety of angles and elevations.
Other highlights of this spectacular trek include the world’s highest altitude lake, Tilicho Lake, and the stunning Ruptse waterfall.
You will be enraptured as you pass through Rhododendron forests, secluded hamlets, and tiny mountain villages – where the lovely and warm Nepalese will charm you as you observe traditional rural life.
